So Anderson Cooper’s ratings are slipping badly in 2009. It seems that the loss of Lou Dobbs has had a drag coefficient effect on Coop. Viewership of the anchor has dropped 62%. According to the Business Insider, there is no more Hurricane Katrina level coverage to propel him to viewership by those seeking yet another reason to blame George Bush. There’s plenty of incompetence in the current administration- it’s just so hard to pin it all down to one person when so many compete for the latest gaffes, blunders, anti-American rhetoric and outright lie-in-your-face kind of oratory to which we’ve almost become numbingly accustomed.
