Apparently Stephen Hawking made the news today having warned that contact with aliens could get us killed. TheSpoof.com furthered the claim saying that contact with Liberal Democrats could get us killed.

With all the spurious claims by lefties crying out that the voice of Free Speech on the right could incite violence and sedition, it’s time to take a hard look at the true threat posed by the progressives and socialists.

They pose a threat somewhere between a black hole and the ultimate heat death of the economy. You know, that state where all money that comes within their gravitational pull can never again escape and everyone is left earning the same measly amount making any real change or work impossible.

Watch it Stephen, your species-phobic attitude could be deemed alien hate speech!

Obama gave a speech in PA yesterday citing a whole trillion dollars of savings if he can just get his Debt Star health care tax reform out of the gate but that horse won’t run. First, according to the CBO, that trillion dollars is only $100 and change. Second the CBO says the trillion of savings attributed to the second decade is meaningless because it’s impossible to project anything meaningful past ten years.  It’s hobbled and broken footed before its debut. It’s a legislative travesty, the equivalent of derivative trading on the stock market. You sign off on this bill even though it isn’t law and we could do anything we want once you hand it off to us, and we PROMISE we’ll make it look like you want it to. This is a Kamikaze mission to be sure. Ideologues in our government have a wild eyed fix on ramming this takeover in every way and every place possible to the American public.

This isn’t reconciliation and it isn’t about a budget process that stops a filibuster. This is a perversion of the purpose and intent of the reconciliation process according to its own creator.

This is a reckoning and someone is going to pay. The question is, us or them?

Are Democrats Buying Up Ads Here? A note about the ads on this site

It would seem that for a conservative viewpoint site, political ads centering on conservative audiences would be the logical outcome. Instead, a disproportionate ratio of progressive agenda ads appear here regularly. I think that’s pretty clever on one level and risky for the progressive groups on another. The ads have to cost the groups more to win out over conservative ads. The resulting idea seems to be to deny conservative bloggers income from relevant ads.

The risk is that savvy people would see through this and click the ads, costing the progressive-left groups money they would otherwise use to drum up more support for their damaging agendas.

In keeping with the Google TOS, I’m NOT saying for anyone to take any action on the ads seen here- I’m just pointing out the obvious that every time a liberal ad is çlicked on here, a liberal group loses money!

Just another example of wasteful Democrat spending on the liberal, progressive, socialist, tax-and-spend, collectivist agenda.

A note about the ads on this site

It seems that some of the Google ads generated on this site are purchased at a high price by progressive liberal groups in hopes of placing ads on conservative sites to decrease the income of conservative bloggers. I have no proof, but the ads seem to target conservative viewpoints. The funny thing is that if people do view the ads, the site probably generates higher income…

Drudge reports that Reuters published this story on the so-called backdoor tax. As of this writing, it still appeared on Yahoo. I don’t know why Reuters pulled the story but the remnants are all over the web by now. Were the Tea Party protests of the summer more accurate than anyone knew? The noise is getting louder- higher taxes are hitting us all one way or another. The redistribution spread-the-wealth and spend-our-way-out ideology predetermines the results.

Backdoor taxes to hit middle class

NEW YORK (Reuters.com) –The Obama administration’s plan to cut more than $1 trillion from the deficit over the next decade relies heavily on so-called backdoor tax increases that will result in a bigger tax bill for middle-class families. In the 2010 budget tabled byPresident Barack Obamaon Monday, the White House wants to let billions of dollars in tax breaks expire by the end of the year — effectively a tax hike by stealth. While the administration is focusing its proposal on eliminating tax breaks for individuals who earn $250,000 a year or more, middle-class families will face a slew of these backdoor increases. The targeted tax provisions were enacted under the Bush administration’sEconomic Growth and Tax Relief Reconciliation Act of 2001. Among other things, the law loweredindividual tax rates, slashed taxes oncapital gainsand dividends, and steadily scaled back the estate tax to zero in 2010. If the provisions are allowed to expire on December 31, the top-tierpersonal income tax ratewill rise to 39.6 percent from 35 percent. But lower-income families will pay more as well: the 25 percenttax bracketwill revert back to 28 percent; the 28 percent bracket will increase to 31 percent; and the 33 percent bracket will increase to 36 percent. The special 10 percent bracket is eliminated. Investors will pay more on their earnings next year as well, with the tax on dividends jumping to 39.6 percent from 15 percent and the capital-gains tax increasing to 20 percent from 15 percent.

The estate tax is eliminated this year, but it will return in 2011 — though there has been talk about reinstating thedeath taxsooner. Millions of middle-class households already may be facing higher taxes in 2010 because Congress has failed to extend tax breaks that expired on January 1, most notably a “patch” that limited the impact of the alternative minimum tax. The AMT, initially designed to prevent the very rich from avoidingincome taxes, was never indexed for inflation. Now the tax is affecting millions of middle-income households, but lawmakers have been reluctant to repeal it because it has become a key source of revenue. Without annual legislation to renew the patch this year, the AMT could affect an estimated 25 million taxpayers with incomes as low as $33,750 (or $45,000 for joint filers). Even if the patch is extended to last year’s levels, the tax will hit American families that can hardly be considered wealthy — the AMT exemption for 2009 was $46,700 for singles and $70,950 for married couples filing jointly. Middle-class families also will find fewer tax breaks available to them in 2010 if other popular tax provisions are allowed to expire. Among them: * Taxpayers who itemize will lose the option to deduct state sales-tax payments instead of state and local income taxes; * The $250 teachertax creditfor classroom supplies; * The tax deduction for up to $4,000 ofcollege tuitionand expenses; * Individuals who don’t itemize will no longer be able to increase their standard deduction by up to $1,000 forproperty taxespaid; * The first $2,400 ofunemployment benefitsare taxable, in 2009 that amount was tax-free.

Is that blue pill of happiness wearing off? More Democrats are getting a taste of the reality of what we’ve been tasting all along. No blue pill of dreams for us! The voters have known for some time that the yarn spun by the far left has unraveled. (again) The ouster of the Democrats from their most holy site did not surprise anyone else as much as it did the far left. Now the Dems are starting to realize that no pill will keep truth at bay for long. The opium of campaign karma wore off six months ago and the voters sobered up way ahead of the far left. Now the shock of the red pill and its dose of reality are causing chaos in the Democrat party as the far left reels with incredulity that their precious has been cast into the fires of Mt. Doom (Lord of the Rings) and their hold on power and the drunken spell have all but vanished. Now the sane may be able to make a real change for the better.

Massachusetts is the next stop for the Dump The Democrats trash truck. Hopefully, it will be picking up Democratic senate hopeful Coakley and depositing her directly into the political dump along with the current sitting sock puppet, Captain Kirk.

According to the Washington Examiner, “the bottom has fallen out of the Coakley campaign.”

Tuesday is truth day.

If Scott Brown wins, will the Democrats play dirty pool (again) and try to block his confirmation and steal the vote?

In a book written by Rush Limbaugh about the Obama campaign he cited that Obama would be accepted by more Americans because he is light skinned and doesn’t speak with a “negro dialect.”

How racist is that?

What kind of tactics can the Democrats employ to pick up where ACORN left off before becoming mired in the much publicized, if ignored by MSM, revelations of the organization’s propensity for support of the spoofed illegal activities of “the pimp and the prostitute?” Go after a new, untapped base. Register people who most stand to benefit from a socialist agenda who do not qualify (constitutionally) to vote. Combine that with an effort to eschew voter verification and you have a new, albeit still illegal, voting block. Illegal immigrants, felons, the dead and persons with multiple identities.

Dirty pool and corruption right under our noses.

What the Dems Know: Universal Voter Registration

A widespread belief is that the Democrats are committing political suicide and will be swept from one or both houses of Congress with unprecedented electoral losses next November. Chris Dodd’s anticipated announcement today highlights the exodus of Democrat incumbents who know they stand too far behind in what is turning into a tide of public opinion. Dodd’s 5 point lag in the polls is a football field’s distance in politics where elections can narrow down to a few hundred votes (Bush/Gore).

The Dominos are starting to fall.

The voters are already being heard. It doesn’t matter how popular and well liked a candidate is among his base.

The idea that it’s time to start dumping the left is taking hold among the independent base.

Those politicians who have been turning a deaf ear to American opinion about spending and security are beginning to hear the sound of an angry majority.
