How Bizarre! Max Baucus Slurred Rambling Speech On Senate Floor

December 28th, 2009 by Dave

How Bizarre! Max Baucus just keeps rambling and slurring his speech. He then shouts down another opposing senator and keeps right on rambling. Was he drunk? Drugged? Sick? Suffering from a stroke? I really don’t know, but isn’t this behavior is strange enough to warrant concern?

Spat On Facebook – It Isn’t Just For Sarah Palin Any More

December 22nd, 2009 by Dave

Fox reports that an exchange of salvos on Facebook has taken place between State Senator Jeremy Nordquist, Omaha, who praised Senator Ben Nelson’s recent healthcare reform vote, and Julie Schmit-Albin, executive director of Nebraska Right to Life. Albin informed Nordquist that he was placing his career in jeopardy by backing Nelson.
Nordquist then equivocated abortion and supposed deaths of people without healthcare. Even if 18,000 Americans die each year without insurance coverage, a dubious argument, there is simply no comparison with a procedure that has the sole purpose and intent of ending a human life at its beginning.

Fabric of life? What kind of grotesque homily is that!?

I hope Sarah Palin contributes to the conversation. I’m sure what she says will be better.

And you thought it was only Governor Sarah Palin? « Gretawire

Editor’s note: I was going to paste a picture of Jeremy Nordquist with babies or children to accentuate this post, but I couldn’t find any. I guess Senator Nordquist just isn’t that into kids. Does he have any of his own? No mention on any Websites.

Sign The HuckPAC Petition – Senator Ben Nelson, Vote No!

December 20th, 2009 by Dave

Send Senator Ben Nelson a message that selling out is not okay. Voters don’t want this bill and the abortion premium still looms. This is no time to roll over. Communicate with the Senator and let your voice be heard. Encourage him not to accept the cornhusker kickback. Aren’t you tired of our representatives being bought out with our money?

Don’t Think We’re Not Keeping Score, Brother

December 19th, 2009 by Dave

A joke that’s not exactly a joke, Obama’s the “Super Prez” according to an MSNBC politics article. While the phrase was velveted in its context it was still a quick, solid punch from the political heavyweight to an errant Democrat.

Nelson Paid Off? How Much Will His Vote Cost

December 19th, 2009 by Dave

Reports are that Senator Ben Nelson was, in effect, paid to buttress the likelihood of his health care bill vote for cloture. This has been the recent pattern for states with problematic Democrat senators- just pay them off with extra money for their state.

Our money.

Our children’s money.

Our grandchildren’s money.

Sound Off The Alarms!

December 19th, 2009 by Dave

Sound Off The Alarms by The Generators

Lock the doors
I´m sensing danger
Every day things get a little bit stranger
So now I hide in fear
For my own dear life

Get ready now Im jumping ship
Cause hell If I´m going down with it
They said the end was coming
But they couldn´t nail down the time

Hit the kill switch
This is it
Humankind can´t co-exist
There´s no turning back now
There´s no turning back

Somebody sound off the alarms
We can´t turn off what they´ve turned on
We can´t come back were too far gone

Rising oceans
Conficts in motion
Some turn their heads and don´t take notice
The fire drill it´s ringing
Canary in the coal mine finally stopped singing
It´s getting hotter and it´s harder to breathe
It´s scaring the living daylights out of me
Here we are spinning out of control
C´mon now and grab a hold

Hit the kill switch
This is it
Human kind can´t co-exist
There´s no turning back now
There´s no turning back

Somebody sound off the alarms
The warning signs they´re always on
You can´t come back when you’re too far gone
Somebody sound off the alarms
The strife of man it carries on
Wake the dead now
Cause we don´t have long

Merry Christmas from the DemocRATS – Go Tax Yourself

December 19th, 2009 by Dave

The Dems are preparing a brew for us all to drink down. One vote starts the ball rolling. Even though 59% of voters think it’s a bad deal, the Jim Jones Gang of 2009 is going to order us to drink green kool-aid in short order. Health care reform is about to become people control. If you can’t feel it yet, you’ll soon notice a hand in your pocket. The democrats are extorting money from the people. Are you noticing that the government has more power than the voters right now and are headed the other way? This while China’s banks are saying it is impossible to continue buying our debt. Is the actual intent to bankrupt our nation?

The Democrats have given the finger to the taxpayers to get change their way no matter what.

Oh Man, It’s So True. The Debt Ceiling Is So High It’s Halfway to Proxima Centauri

December 16th, 2009 by Dave

The nearest star is Proxima Centauri at a distance of 4.2 light years. At a speed of 150,000 miles per hour from a passive slingshot maneuver, it would take about 17,900 years to reach this star. How far is 4.2 light years? It’s 25 Trillion Miles.

Our National Debt stands at just under 12.5 Trillion dollars.

How many years will it take us to pay it down?
