Democrats Who Voted Against the Healthcare Bill? Keep Or Vote Out Anyway?

March 22nd, 2010 by Dave

It’s time for a conservative majority.

Below is a short list of Democrats who voted no on the Healthcare bill. The rest voted yes. If your representative isn’t on this list, they need to be dumped off at the earliest opportunity. They aren’t listening to the American public and have ceased to fulfill their constitutional purpose. Furthermore, evaluate carefully, your representative even if found on this list of no votes. They may pose a threat in the future if they were simply allowed to cast a no vote after a sure margin was obtained. They could be arm-twisted in the future. Make sure your representative is a fiscal conservative if you feel they should retain a seat in the house.

As Newt Gingrich wrote today, ”

No one should be confused about the outcome of Sunday’s vote

This is not the end of the fight it is the beginning of the fight.

The American people spoke decisively against a big government, high tax, Washington knows best, pro trial lawyer centralized bureaucratic health system.

In every recent poll the vast majority of Americans opposed this monstrosity.

Speaker Pelosi knew the country was against the bill. That is why she kept her members trapped in Washington and forced a vote on Sunday.

She knew if she let the members go home their constituents would convince them to vote no.

John Edwards To Be Indicted?

March 9th, 2010 by Dave

According to the National Enquirer’s editor in chief, a Federal Grand Jury will indict John Edwards in the next few weeks. Say, early April. It’s hard to believe this guy was ever in the running for president.

The Debt Star – Off by $800 Billion – Oops!

March 9th, 2010 by Dave

The Debt Star
Obama gave a speech in PA yesterday citing a whole trillion dollars of savings if he can just get his Debt Star health care tax reform out of the gate but that horse won’t run. First, according to the CBO, that trillion dollars is only $100 and change. Second the CBO says the trillion of savings attributed to the second decade is meaningless because it’s impossible to project anything meaningful past ten years.  It’s hobbled and broken footed before its debut. It’s a legislative travesty, the equivalent of derivative trading on the stock market. You sign off on this bill even though it isn’t law and we could do anything we want once you hand it off to us, and we PROMISE we’ll make it look like you want it to. This is a Kamikaze mission to be sure. Ideologues in our government have a wild eyed fix on ramming this takeover in every way and every place possible to the American public.

This isn’t reconciliation and it isn’t about a budget process that stops a filibuster. This is a perversion of the purpose and intent of the reconciliation process according to its own creator.

This is a reckoning and someone is going to pay. The question is, us or them?

Walter Reed Housing really needed a community organizer. Wait, it was already government run. Imagine how well things are going to work out when they run health care.

Charlie Rangel, What would Nixon Do?

March 3rd, 2010 by Dave

Let me get this right, Charles Rangel is stepping down, but he’s not. Will this move avoid the up/down vote the Republicans were sure to initiate? This kind of gray zone is like listening to Robert the-lost-Bee-Gee Gibbs say nothing for twenty minutes during a press briefing. That could explain why he really doesn’t need to write notes on his hand.

So this “leave of absence” he’s taking… will he go on another trip to his non-taxed Caribbean getaway?

This thing smells like something cooked up by Pelosi to try to get the trillion dollar budget reconciliation to bypass the 60% vote requirement.
