Bill Maher is an entertainer- a comedian if you will. Nothing to do with serious politics. Rush Limbaugh is the defacto head of the Republican party.

The simple truth is that Bill Maher can’t stand up to the competition in the arena of entertainment or political commentary. Traffic data from Compete.com shows that truth handily. No wonder the left can’t let Rush alone! You can call Sarah Palin a cu** if you’re a leftist tool but you can’t call Sandra Fluke a slut as an illustration of absurdity if you’re on the right. It’s all fair and balanced if you can call Rush a political spokesperson but Bill a mere entertainer. One thing is sure- in the arena of online presence, Bill doesn’t hold up a candle to Rush. Rush has 35 times more monthly web traffic than Bill.

Apparently, calling a lobbyist something else, or getting them in via the back door along with high paying guests is just OK with the Obama administration who for-swore lobbyists, at least directly.

The times article points out, for example, that Bush has visited the white house 9 times. Not George W. but Antoinette C. Bush, a high profile Washington attorney who has represented the likes of Viacom. The Bushes have also, coincidentally, donated heavily to the Obama reelection cause.

Why do Democrats make such a fuss about racism? Are they hiding way too many skeletons in their collective closet? Democrats have a long long track record of racism. Are they really the progressive party you see in the media? Hold-out politics were the norm for over a hundred years where Democrats fought hard against everything that suggested any scent of equality for blacks. Politicians like Al Gore Sr. debated against civil rights. What convinces Americans that Democrats so quickly turned from their evil ways in the space of just twenty or thirty years while Republicans who supported black equality for over a hundred years supposedly are now racist? Are Democrats just using race for the acquisition of power?

Andrew passed away unexpectedly from natural causes shortly after midnight this morning in Los Angeles.

We have lost a husband, a father, a son, a brother, a dear friend, a patriot and a happy warrior.

Andrew lived boldly, so that we more timid souls would dare to live freely and fully, and fight for the fragile liberty he showed us how to love.

Andrew recently wrote a new conclusion to his book, Righteous Indignation:

I love my job. I love fighting for what I believe in. I love having fun while doing it. I love reporting stories that the Complex refuses to report. I love fighting back, I love finding allies, and—famously—I enjoy making enemies.

Three years ago, I was mostly a behind-the-scenes guy who linked to stuff on a very popular website. I always wondered what it would be like to enter the public realm to fight for what I believe in. I’ve lost friends, perhaps dozens. But I’ve gained hundreds, thousands—who knows?—of allies. At the end of the day, I can look at myself in the mirror, and I sleep very well at night.

Andrew is at rest, yet the happy warrior lives on, in each of us.

Uhmmm yeahhh, I just lost $535 billion. How very unfortunate for someone out there, but I guess that’s just more stimulus chump change.

Like some kind of internal fairness doctrine, according to the Daily Caller website, Facebook has begun implementing a euphemistically termed “upgrade” which requires a “key” to keep administrators of Facebook groups in touch with their subscribers, essentially dismantling the groups. Groups not provided a “key” will be “archived” so that they can be read, but the admin of key-less groups will have to contact members one by one and ask them to re-join.
