It’s obvious that Obama has to kick everyone’s ass since more and more people from within from General McChrystal to Rahm Emanuel who reportedly is growing tired of the idealism of Barack Obama’s inner circle. The closer we get to elections, the more obvious it appears that Obama is wearing the Emperor’s New Clothes. If McChrystal is freed to speak his mind, ie. retires from the service, will he become a darling of the right even though he voted for Obama? He certainly never was a darling of the White House. All eyes are on the election now and the timing of the DemocRats and for that matter, cozy Republicans exiting the ship will be all about keeping a low profile until finally, the panic sets in and all hands flee the CINC who is looking more and more stripped down at home and abroad.
“Go Back To Auschwitz!” – flotilla “peace” activists
Hitting the public all in the same day. Expressing sentiments echoed in the minds of many more, Helen Thomas’ words reflect a loathing for sovereignty both at home and abroad. As a nation, we’re so busy apologizing for our role in everything wrong since WWII, or possibly now, even before. Why not open up now and make it clear that our elite feels the same way about Jews as Ahamadinejad- that they have no right to a nation anywhere, that the jews should be at best, dispersed throughout the world where they can be corralled and closely watched by their betters, and at worst…
Why shouldn’t the Jews be denied sovereignty? After all, the idea here seems to be that we don’t even deserve to protect the interests of our own nation. We should be so inclined to say nothing to contradict Felipe Calderon’s call to “consolidate North America.” Wouldn’t it be nice if Mexico could appropriate our wealth while simultaneously offloading the drug cartels directly to our border states?
While our government condemns Arizona’s efforts (literally sight unseen) in attempting to close a border leak that parallels that of the BP spill, we also take the low road of saying nothing that appears supportive of Israel’s right to protect its own, creating a vacuum so great that Helen’s voice booms in the silence like thunder, echoed by the flotilla “peace” activists who broadcast from their ship in response to the IDF interceptors, “Go back to Auschwitz” and “Remember 911 guys”
In today’s economy, it’s evidently still fairly easy to land a really good job with the best pay and benefits and it all starts with being turned down. My plan is simple and it seems to be working for at least two people so why not give it a try? It only takes three steps:
New job finding strategy for the unemployed.
Apply for a high profile/paying government job and get turned down.
Find a tight political race and run as a spoiler on the Democratic ticket.
There are a number of ways to look at classes in society, but for the purpose of this post, I’m going to look at two popular ones in the US.
The entitlement class and the working class- and sometimes the former can be found among the latter.
The entitlement class believes the government should feed, clothe, house and manage from the cradle to the grave.
The working class believes the government should provide national security and a framework in which we can each work to become affluent enough to provide for ourselves and give to others.
The entitlement class elites so believe in government provision from the cradle to the grave that they consistently give far less to charity than the working class. Check Joe Biden’s or Barack Obama’s 2009 tax returns. Both gave less to charity than George Bush. In 2007, before it became evident he would be propelled into a high profile position, Biden gave 0.3% of his income to charity. source: dailycaller.com. In fact Biden averaged $369 per year to charity over ten years.
The entitlement class will vote soon and the working class will have to out-vote them to keep them from robbing the wealth of their labor and that of their children and grandchildren and great grandchildren.
LOW TAX/HIGH TAX? Just because you buy a fridge with no payments for one year doesn’t mean you’re not paying too much for it. Any money acquired by the government(s) is provided by those who earn it. We pay by: direct tax, fees, property tax, consumption tax, built in price increases to cover cost of tax, decreased benefits, inflation disproportionate to income, etc. We’re paying the cost of everything the government spends. Everything. Or, we’re passing the cost to our kids. When our spending hits 100% or more of GDP we’ll look like something between Japan and Greece.
On Cinco de Mayo, five Morgan Hill high school students came to school in red, white and blue, and got a very public lesson in school politics and free speech. The boys came to Live Oak High School on the Mexican holiday, wearing t-shirts, shorts and shoes emblazoned with American flags.
Apparently Stephen Hawking made the news today having warned that contact with aliens could get us killed. TheSpoof.com furthered the claim saying that contact with Liberal Democrats could get us killed.
With all the spurious claims by lefties crying out that the voice of Free Speech on the right could incite violence and sedition, it’s time to take a hard look at the true threat posed by the progressives and socialists.
They pose a threat somewhere between a black hole and the ultimate heat death of the economy. You know, that state where all money that comes within their gravitational pull can never again escape and everyone is left earning the same measly amount making any real change or work impossible.
Watch it Stephen, your species-phobic attitude could be deemed alien hate speech!
